High Puster Valley - Cycling in the garden of the Dolomites
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” We are almost tempted to say that Albert Einstein was describing cycling in East Tyrol. One thing is certain – a summer holiday in our lovely state will re-balance you - with or without a bike.
It’s not without reason that the top cycling events take place regularly in this outstanding area: the Giro d’Italia makes a stopover and even the popular tour in the Dolomites runs through the Hochpuster Valley.
Strong Calves are fired up for the mountains in East Tyrol! Enjoy quite a number of well-marked MTB-routes with different degrees of difficulty, magnificent mountains, healthy landscape and the sunny weather of the south side of the Alps. All this is located in the region between the Großglockner and the Dolomites.
