The town Asolo is located in a scenic environment between Bassano del Grappa and the well-known Prosecco Doc hills. The town center lies at the foot of the mountain and is animated by a large square surrounded by ancient craft shops and taverns. It is called ‘the city of a hundred horizons’ and has one of the most charming old towns in Italy. In its collection of ancient walls branching off from the so-called 'Rocca', a 12th century fortress, every corner preserves evidence of the town's millennial history. The Mount Grappa is an historical mountain, which played an important role during the first and secondWorld War. Even today there are still the signs with trails and trenches and with the imposing War Memorial, in memory of allsoldiers who gave their lives for freedom! It is located south of the Dolomites, between the provinces of Belluno, Vicenza andTreviso and is a paradise for all sports.
