Eurosport broadcasts all big cycling events such as Paris-Roubaix, Giro d’Italia and UCI Wourld Championship. Each year a huge highlight is the Tour de France, which is running from 6th to 28th of July and can be seen daily live on Eurosport.
A week before the cycling professionals in France hit the road, Eurosport will be present at Europes biggest and most spectacular stage race for ordinary road cyclists: TOUR Transalp.
„For us it is extremly valuable, to get in touch with the cycling fans, that know the races not just from tv, but can understand from their own experiences, what it means to sit on the bike for days, pushing the limits“, says Eike Immisch, Senior Director Marketing & Communications at Discovery/Eurosport in Germany.
The Eurosport team shares the passion of the many active cyclists and is looking forward to meet and support the participants of the TOUR Transalp in June. The new partner will provide a mobile coffee stand at three stages, where finishers can meet up and recover over a coffee.
Eurosport inspires its fan community on more than 200 days with live sports and more than 2.500 hours of reports on the Eurosport platforms. On a bis screen during the TOUR Transalp they will show highlight-clips of the professional races and trailers about the upcoming Tour-de-France-Broadcast.
